Mike also produced, arranged and sang lead vocal on the main theme for the “Curious George” animated kids TV show and videotape series viewed around the world. Mike is also a partner in Farm Road Estate in West Dover and enjoys spending time in Vermont when not at his haunts in NYC. Mike is looking forward to playing pickleball and meeting new friends on our state-of-the-art courts this summer.

  • TRIP MORSE

Originally from West Hartford, Ct., Trip grew up playing sports; basketball, soccer, and tennis through high school.  He played D-1 tennis and then played (lost a lot) professionally in Southern California. As the saying goes, those that can’t do, teach. In the late 70’s, Trip became the Head Tennis Pro at Mission Viejo Country Club. He came back to the east coast in the early 1980’s and started a 40-year insurance career, while also coaching high school tennis and running charity tennis and golf events. Trip moved to the beautiful state of Vermont fulltime in 2005 and lives on his grandfather’s farm in East Dover, Vt. He has a beautiful, incredibly talented, and very smart 16-year-old daughter named Matilda.

Trip was bitten by the pickleball bug in 2022 and now plays all over southern Vermont and New Hampshire at a 4.0+ level. He organizes 3 high-level groups on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays at Stratton and also in Brattleboro. Trip’s mission is to continue to grow the game in Vermont and he genuinely enjoys organizing pickleball events, especially when they are for a worthy cause. He hopes to see all of you on the courts!

  • ILENE WINTERS

Ilene Winters is a non-profit professional and New Jersey native that moved to West Dover in 2020. Her family owns a home in Bear’s Crossing, and has owned a home in the Deerfield Valley since 1970. She has always considered Vermont her second home, and now it is her only home. She loves living in the Green Mountain state and deeply appreciates the community she has found in the Deerfield Valley.

Ilene always wanted to be a criminal defense attorney. She went to work in New York City after graduating from college and emerged 20 years later, without a Law degree. In 2002, she did a total 360 and started a second career in non profit by founding and running a cancer wellness center. The Cancer Support Community of the Jersey Shore was her baby until it moved into a local hospital in 2015.

An outdoor enthusiast, Ilene bikes, runs, swims, skis, hikes, and paddles all over Vermont. She is also a Level 2 CrossFit Coach, a personal fitness trainer, and an endurance coach. She learned to play pickleball in 2022, and immediately fell in love with the sport. Having an outdoor place to play locally has been her dream since she started playing - this dream will now be a reality, thanks to Mike and Trip.
